Lancaster Yarn Shop offers a variety of classes and FREE workshops for fiber artists of all skill levels, from Absolute Beginner to Extremely Accomplished. The emphasis is on celebrating the tradition of knitting and handwork (and learning cool new stuff!) in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Classes and Free Workshops are held at the Yarn Shop in our beautiful upstairs studio at 3519 Old Philadelphia Pike in Intercourse, Lancaster County, PA. (HERE for directions). There is plenty of free parking, and we are just steps from the terrific restaurants and great shopping at Kitchen Kettle Village. Classes are taught by our experienced and knowledgeable instructors and classified by skill level.

Tuesday, March 19: First Time Fair Isle

 
Project: Simple Fair Isle Cap
Date:  Tuesday, March 19th
Time:  9:30 - 11:30
An introduction to color work!  Liven up your handwork and increase your knitting skills with stranded colorwork.  Fair Isle is one of the most common techniques used in knitting to create color patterns.  

Skill Level: Intermediate/Extreme *
Skills Required: Complete understanding of knitting, purling.
Pattern Requirements: 16" circular US #8 needles, US #8 DPNs & stitch markers.
Materials:  Two skeins  Lamb's Pride
