Lancaster Yarn Shop offers a variety of classes and FREE workshops for fiber artists of all skill levels, from Absolute Beginner to Extremely Accomplished. The emphasis is on celebrating the tradition of knitting and handwork (and learning cool new stuff!) in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Classes and Free Workshops are held at the Yarn Shop in our beautiful upstairs studio at 3519 Old Philadelphia Pike in Intercourse, Lancaster County, PA. (HERE for directions). There is plenty of free parking, and we are just steps from the terrific restaurants and great shopping at Kitchen Kettle Village. Classes are taught by our experienced and knowledgeable instructors and classified by skill level.

Tuesday, February 21: Palindrome Reversible Cables Scarf Workshop

Announcing another Free Knitting Workshop! Join us on Tuesday, February 21st for a Free Palindrome Reversible Cables Scarf Knitting Workshop.  We'll cast on and learn the basics of knitting cables in this two hour workshop.  Most of the knitting will be done on your own after the workshop.

Skill Level: Intermediate.
Skills Required: You must have a basic understanding of most aspects of knitting.
Techniques Taught:  Basic cabling technique
Materials:  Two skeins Astral, one set US#7 or 8 knitting needles.  Please download and bring your own copy of the pattern from Cometosilver.com
