Project: Turn A Square hat
Date: Tuesday, October 12, 2010
Time: 10:00 - 12:00 p
Jared Flood's Turn A Square hat is a wonderful hat pattern! This hat looks great on anyone. Come cast on your hat & get it done in plenty of time for holiday knit-giving! We'll get you started on your hat & demonstrate the ingenious techniques of the jogless join & raglan decreases for the top.
Materials: approximately 40 g worsted weight yarn in solid color & 25 g worsted weight self striping. US #6 & 7 16" circular needles & one set US#7 DPNs. Stitch markers. Pattern*.
*Students will need to print the pattern before the class. Jared Flood has graciously agreed to let us use his free pattern, help us respect copyright by visiting his website or Ravelry.
You may bring your own needles & tools for this project, but please plan to purchase materials for the project at LYS. Thanks!
