Project:  Beech Wood by Ilga Leja
Date:  Tuesday, December 7
Time:  9:30 - 11:03a

The Beech Wood cowl pattern is a real beauty.  Ilga Leja, a knitter from Nova Scotia, designed this lively, fun to knit cowl.  A great gift--or a stylish addition to your Winter wardrobe, the pattern features clever beginner level lace techniques & a fun drop-stitch detail.

Knit by nearly 400 Ravelers, this was offered as a free pattern until this week.  Special thanks to Ilga for permission to use the pattern & permission for us to share it with you for free.

Materials:   US #6 or US#7 16" or 24” circular needle, stitch markers, row counter, & approximately 100-150 grams /185 yards dk yarn.  The pattern will be provided by LYS.

This workshop is suitable for Intermediate Knitters.  Intermediate Knitters are Current Knitters who know the basics:  long-tail cast-on, knit, purl, and bind off.  Develop your skills and learn shaping, new patterns, and cool techniques that will move your knitting forward!

You may bring your own needles & tools for this project, but please plan to purchase yarn for this project at LYS. Thanks!
