Lancaster Yarn Shop offers a variety of classes and FREE workshops for fiber artists of all skill levels, from Absolute Beginner to Extremely Accomplished. The emphasis is on celebrating the tradition of knitting and handwork (and learning cool new stuff!) in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Classes and Free Workshops are held at the Yarn Shop in our beautiful upstairs studio at 3519 Old Philadelphia Pike in Intercourse, Lancaster County, PA. (HERE for directions). There is plenty of free parking, and we are just steps from the terrific restaurants and great shopping at Kitchen Kettle Village. Classes are taught by our experienced and knowledgeable instructors and classified by skill level.

Announcing our nextfree Knitting Workshop! Join us on Tuesday, April 26th as we cast on a stylish cap with just a hint of fancy!
Materials: 100grams worsted weight yarn, US #8 16" circular & double point needles, stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Wonderful good! This cute little cap is knit in the round with a feather & fan border. This workshop is suitable for Intermediate Knitters. Intermediate Knitters are Current Knitters who know the basics: long-tail cast-on, knit, purl, and bind off. Experience working with double-pointed needles is a plus! A kit for this project is available for purchase at LYS.
