Lancaster Yarn Shop offers a variety of classes and FREE workshops for fiber artists of all skill levels, from Absolute Beginner to Extremely Accomplished. The emphasis is on celebrating the tradition of knitting and handwork (and learning cool new stuff!) in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Classes and Free Workshops are held at the Yarn Shop in our beautiful upstairs studio at 3519 Old Philadelphia Pike in Intercourse, Lancaster County, PA. (HERE for directions). There is plenty of free parking, and we are just steps from the terrific restaurants and great shopping at Kitchen Kettle Village. Classes are taught by our experienced and knowledgeable instructors and classified by skill level.

Announcing our next Free Knitting Workshop! Join us on Tuesday, November 15th for a Mistletoe Knitting Workshop.  We'll learn basic shaping & have fun working with different colors for a nice effect.  
Project:  Mistletoe!

Skill Level: Intermediate.
Skills Required: You should have a basic understanding of most aspects of knitting.
Techniques Taught: Material selection, increasing, decreasing.
Materials:  Worsted weight wool yarn, US #6 double pointed needles.  Please download and print your own copy of the pattern here or here.
